    A Guide to the Collections of the Center for Ethnic Studies at Forsyth Library, Fort Hays State University is a bibliographic listing of materials available for public access in 1998. The Center for Ethnic Studies was established in 1977 by Dr. James L. Forsythe and Dr. Helmut J. Schmeller. The focus of the collection grew to include information on Volga Germans from Russia, Bukovina Germans, Czechs, Scandinavians, Hispanics, and African Americans. The listing of materials is grouped by format and content. This document includes materials recorded in the card catalog for Forsyth Library, as well as individual Special Collections Finding Guides.
